Loin lamb chops/cutlets are great for quick lunches or evening meals. The most tender and leanest chops on the lamb, hand cut by our butchers. They can be cooked in just a few minutes and are best served slightly pink. They’re also endlessly versatile, with hundreds of different ways to include them in a variety of recipes and cuisines. Or just keep it simple and pop under the grill or pan fry for a super tasty, easy meal. Another British favourite.
LAMB CHOPS (PLAIN OR MINTY)
2 x Lamb Chops is 1 serving
SUPPLIED FRESH in packs of 2
SUITABLE FOR HOME FREEZING
Freeze on day of purchase – Store between -18°C to -25ºC.
Freezer shelf life is 4 months from purchase.
Defrost in refrigerator for 8-12 hours.
Once defrosted store between 0 – 5°C. Use within 48 hours.
Do NOT re-freeze once defrosted.
Remove the lamb chops from their packaging, allow the meat to come to room temperature for 20 minutes, patting dry with kitchen paper.
Pan fry or grill
Cook on a medium heat for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove from heat, place on a rack, cover with foil and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
If preferred pink reduce cooking time accordingly.
